Phonics Path is operated by AEJ Language Academy, trading as AEJ Language Academy ("we", "us", "our"). Our contact email is ae.jlanguageacademy@gmail.com. By using Phonics Path, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Phonics Path is an online synthetic-phonics learning app designed for children under adult supervision. Accounts are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. We do not collect personal data directly from children.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to create an account on behalf of the child. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Phonics Path offers a free preview rather than a timed trial: the first sound lessons and the first 2 words of the first blending lesson can be used free of charge, with no card required. Continuing past that point requires a subscription costing $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year (US dollars). Once you subscribe, your subscription renews automatically on the schedule you chose (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. Prices shown are inclusive of applicable taxes, which are collected by our payment provider. Current pricing is always shown on our pricing page.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access until that date.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service inquiries and handles returns. You can read Paddle's buyer terms at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your payment date. Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle. You can request a refund by visiting paddle.net or contacting us at ae.jlanguageacademy@gmail.com.

You must not use Phonics Path for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm the service or others. This includes, but is not limited to:

• fraudulent or deceptive activity;
• attempting to access another user's account or data;
• reverse engineering, scraping, or interfering with the app or its infrastructure;
• uploading harmful code, malware, or viruses;
• infringing intellectual property rights or other people's rights.

All content, branding, software, lesson designs and materials in Phonics Path remain the property of AEJ Language Academy or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for personal educational purposes within your subscription.

We do our best to keep the app running smoothly, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may update the app, add or remove features, or change prices with reasonable notice.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay when due, or if we reasonably believe there is fraud, security risk, or abuse. You may delete your account and data at any time from the data deletion page.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AEJ Language Academy is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost profits or data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

Our Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your data. It includes the rights parents have to access, correct or delete their child's data.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.

If we make a material change to these terms, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app. Continued use of Phonics Path after the changes means you accept the updated terms.
